3 weeknight low-top sneaker class

You will be using a prepared sneaker pattern template to design from.

You will customize your sneaker via material choices and simple design details: topline, laces, eyelets, pull tabs, topstitching. Different leathers can be chosen from our stock.

Participants also have the option to (re)use their materials for making the uppers. The soles are made of rubber.

Schedule:
The course takes place over 3 evenings, from 6-9 PM.

Day 1: Introduction – Introduction to tools and materials. Material selection and cutting. Upper construction.
Day 2: Lasting.
Day 3: Gluing and sewing soles. Finishing the footwear.

Upon completing the course, participants will:
- understand footwear construction
- be able to use patterns and tools, and select suitable materials for construction
- apply the acquired knowledge independently for making footwear

Make sure to book ahead to secure all the materials in your size. All tools and supplies are included.
