5-Day Boot making Intensive

Reviving the 5-day boots only class. Short boots, to tall boots, boots will get a special treatment. Just at the tail end of winter, in March, make a pair, and wear them out until the spring comes!

A Five-day bootmaking intensive course from sketch to finish. You will be making boots of your own design on boot lasts that we have! This will be a cemented shoe construction class, and is aimed for beginners.

You will sketch, make patterns of your designs, sew your uppers, last, sole, and make the boots.

Materials included are: Midsoles, Shanks, Toe Puffs, Heel counters, and supplies. There are upper and lining leathers, outsoles and rubbers available in the studio. If you'd like to go shop for materials, materials purchased on the trip will be student's responsibility.

Day2: Cutting and Prepping materials

Day 3: Stitching and lasting

Day 4: Lasting + Soling

Day 5: Soling + Finishing
