6-session MARCELL MRSAN DIGITAL PATTERNMAKING

A multi-weekend, in-person course featuring patternmaking basics + using Footwear Patternmaking Software Caligola (by Comelz). The class will use a PC laptop, provided by Marcell.

This course is geared toward shoemakers who know patternmaking, who would like to gain advanced knowledge, and to use the Caligola software, or communicate technically, with your factories. Digitize your patterns, learn to grade them, adjust the patterns for optimized fit, or nest the patterns the best way for production.

During the course of 2 months, you will have access to use this laptop! This is an extraordinary opportunity! There will be two weeks between each class, and you can practice what you have learned during class, in the weeks between.

This course includes an extensive interactive digital patternmaking textbook. $1000 is a deposit for the software and laptop. You will use it during the class. When you return the laptop in-person, on the last day of class, we will refund you this deposit.
