JBF CUSTOMS visits NYC for A SNEAKER MAKING WORKSHOP with BRANDI DEVERS

No experience is necessary, and you will walk away from the class with your own handmade shoes. 

Class will move fast, and you should come focused and ready to work for the entire day.  This class is to teach you basic techniques - it is your own responsibility to master them. 

We encourage every student to bring in sketches of shoes they'd like to make.  (Sneaker sketching classes are available buildling up to this class) However, please understand that we may need to simplify complex designs in order to complete them in a week.  Also, all shoes will be finished with either white or gum colored Margom rubber cup soles.  

Day1: Patternmaking, We hope students will be able to choose leathers from our leather library. Materials are included. If you intend on going shopping to purchase your own leathers, that will be on your time and $.

Day2: cutting leathers, start stitching

Day3: finish stitching, start lasting

Day4: lasting complete

Day5: learn how to hand-sew the cupsole side stitching.

Come and spend five days with us and make a pair for yourself!

All tools and supplies are included. If you find materials at the space, the materials are also included.
