MARCELL MRSAN 002: Footwear Technical Design & Pattern Making

In this 6-hour course, we will go over 2 styles; Double Monk Strap size men's 9, and Stiletto size women's 7.

If you bring your own mean form and last, and a style you wish to create, Marcell can walk through the basic ruler method with you with your designs. Please come prepared with your last, mean form, and design, all ready to go.

We highly recommend taking the Pattern Making Basics class the night before to understand how to use the ruler. Or, a perfect refresher for those who have taken the extensive patternmaking ruler-method with Marcell in the past.

This course includes the new edition Ruler ($30 retail value) and the free step by step guide, and a downloadable tutorial on how to use the ruler.

Marcell Mrsan is an accredited master shoemaker hailing from Hungary. His bespoke shoes are highly coveted, having a waitlist of more than one year.

He worked as a footwear design professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design for 7 years and has sent many students to successful footwear brands both in fashion and in the athletic footwear field with a fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience of how to make beautifully crafted shoes. He offers online video courses as well as private classes in his workshop, now relocated to Pennsylvania.
