Start your Future in Footwear by I CAN MAKE SHOES

We are so excited to host our friends from I Can Make Shoes for another amazing guest workshop here at BKSS.

This time they are bringing their famous Start your Future in Footwear course run by the super talented Kiren Modi. 

The course is a 3 day intensive which is taught without the use of heavy machinery, meaning that after the class you can gather a few supplies and continue making your own shoes from home.
You can choose between a High, Mid or flat style shoe on the day and all of the materials are included in the price.

In this course, you will be taught how to make shoes from start to finish.

Here is what will be covered in this 3 day course:

Day One:
• Footwear Components and terminology
• Design
• Pattern Making
• Construction of uppers

Day Two:
• Construction of uppers cont..
• Preparation of insoles and heels
• Lasting Lining
• Stiffeners
• Lasting Uppers

Day Three:
• Lasting Uppers cont..
• Attaching heels
• Insole socks and memory foam inserts
• Finishing touches

LOCATION - BKSS

TIME - 10am - 4pm daily, 1 hour break for lunch.

This class has limited spaces and will be running on the 3rd - 5th of August.
